Refund Policy

Ready packages

Because digital records may be delivered immediately, completed ready-package purchases are generally final. If a delivered file is corrupted, inaccessible, duplicated in error or materially different from the listed package, visit our Contact Us page within 7 days of purchase so we can replace the file or review whether a refund is appropriate.

Custom Research

The $79 Custom Research fee covers the research work performed and does not guarantee that responsive records exist, are publicly available or can be located. If we have not begun researching your request, a cancellation may be eligible for a full refund. Once research has begun, the $79 Custom Research fee is generally nonrefundable because the fee compensates HOA Records Direct for the research work performed, regardless of whether responsive records are ultimately located.

Package refreshes

A refresh fee covers a new search for later filings. The absence of new filings does not by itself make the completed search refundable.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge was made in error, please visit our Contact Us page first. Most issues can be investigated more quickly when we have the relevant order information.

Requesting help or a refund review

Visit our Contact Us page and include the purchaser email address, order or request number, and a description of the issue. Any approved refund will be returned through the original payment method.
